Koodimesta

A modern developer portfolio powered by Next.js and Payload CMS, featuring dynamic project management, secure administration, and automated cloud deployment.

Built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Payload CMS, Koodimesta is a full-stack portfolio platform designed to showcase projects and technical expertise. It features a GitHub-authenticated admin interface for managing content without code changes.

The application runs on Node.js 24 and is containerized with Docker. GitHub Actions automates code quality checks, testing, and deployments to DigitalOcean, while Caddy provides secure HTTPS connectivity.

Development and deployment workflow

Development follows an AI-assisted workflow using specialized GitHub Copilot agents and reusable skills for architecture, implementation, UI/UX, accessibility, testing, and DevOps.

A GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline enforces code quality through linting, type checking, automated tests, and production-container smoke tests. Changes merged into the main branch are automatically deployed to DigitalOcean, where Docker Compose orchestrates the application and Caddy manages HTTPS.
